Truitt, Lawrence to Host Policy Committee for Discussion on Job Creation

WHAT: Reps. John Lawrence (R-Chester) and Dan Truitt (R-Chester) will welcome members of the House Majority Policy Committee for a discussion on job creation efforts in Chester County and across Pennsylvania. This hearing is one of several the committee is holding statewide to look for additional ways the Commonwealth can attract and retain jobs to help strengthen the regional and state economies.

WHO: Lawrence; Truitt; Majority Policy Chairman Rep. Dave Reed (R-Indiana); and members of the Policy Committee. Those expected to offer testimony will include: Mark Yoder, president, Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce; Nancy Keefer, president and CEO, Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry; Gary Smith, president and CEO, Chester County Economic Development Council; Chris Fiorentino, dean and professor of economics, College of Business and Public Affairs; West Chester University; Mark D. Sammarone, vice president, Arthur Hall Insurance; Steve Kelly, owner, Kelly’s Sports; Shawn McGlinchey, director of risk management, Krapf Bus Companies; and Jim Bricker, Waste Oil Recyclers.
